Job Title: Roastery & production assistant.
Location: Coffee Roastery in Plymouth, Devon
Contracted hours: Part Time 08:30-16:30. (4 hours also available on Wednesday afternoon)
Work Day: Friday
Pay: Hourly rate £10.75
Benefits: Paid lunch break, free parking, free coffee on shift, discount on coffee bags.
Requirements
- Reading the production spreadsheet.
- Creating & printing batch labels.
- Labelling coffee bags.
- Weighing and grinding coffee accurately.
- Packing coffee and ancillary items ready for shipping.
- Regularly lifting and loading heavy coffee boxes & tubs.
- Assisting the Head Roaster with moving and batching raw coffee.
- Maintaining a clean workspace.
- Following food hygiene, organic certification and health & safety protocols.
- Occasional contact with customers/suppliers:
- Telephone enquiries
- Selling coffee through till system, coffee collections
- Goods receiving
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
